November 10, 2009 - After a record nine nominations, Mike Schneider and his Milwaukee Polka Band have taken home the Band of the Year Award from the Wisconsin Polka Hall of Fame. Many thanks to everyone who voted in this year's awards, to all of the loyal supporters of the Mike Schneider Band, and to the sidemen who have made this all possible over the last 14 years. August 6, 2008 - My wife Heather and I are thrilled to announce the birth of baby Garrett Schneider. Our little boy arrived on Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at 12:25 AM after an incredible 45 hours of labor. Photos of baby Garrett are available here.
