Hope you had a great Independence Day! It appears as if I
wrote up a nice update for last month, which you can see on
the Blog
pages here at
www.mikeschneiderband.com
or
www.pintsizepolkas.com, and
then forgot to send it out. Nice, hey? I guess that's the
price I pay for being so busy this summer. It is going very
fast and incredibly well. One thing I've really noticed
compared to last summer is the size of the crowds everywhere
I've been for Pint Size Polkas – kudos to all the librarians
I’ve been working with on their promotional efforts! Hope
the rest of the summer goes just as well. Still have shows
left in Minnesota, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, and Wisconsin.
Plus, there's a very good chance I'll be retuning to
Savannah in October for their library system's Oktoberfest.
Can't wait!
On the Mike Schneider Band front, look for us at Blessed
Pope John Paul II (formerly St. Helen's) Parish Festival
this Sunday, July 8 after Alvin Styzinski, plus a brand new
event for us in the Garden District Days Festival on Sunday,
July 29. Even more new events next month - details on
everything below, plus get maps on the Schedule page here at
www.mikeschneiderband.com
and the
Events page at
www.pintsizepolkas.com.
Hope to see you out and about soon!
I'll keep this month's update to that since I just got off
the golf course of all places on a 100-degree day here in IA
after three shows in Cedar Rapids. A good day, but a long
one! Looking forward to sharing more news next month. Have a
great month and enjoy the heat in the meantime!
As always, be sure to join our
growing list of fans on Facebook
here, or for Pint Size
Polkas

Thanks again!

P.S. Due to a miscommunication between St. Rita West Allis
and myself, we’ll unfortunately be breaking our streak of 15
straight years at their festival. Jimmy Monsen will be
playing in our place. The date is Sunday, July 22 – not July
15 as was originally listed. Hope you’ll go and support this
great festival, and that we’ll be back for more polka fun in
2013! |
