For anyone who thinks life on the road for a musician is
glamorous, consider this: I write this from a Super 8 in
Westminster, CO just outside of Denver. The phone doesn't
work, the WiFi keeps dropping and at best is about as fast
as dial up, there's no fridge or microwave in the room, and
I'm paying almost $100 per night for the two-night stay. And
this is one of the cheapest decent places I could find.
                    Crazy!

But I wouldn't do it if I didn't love the music, and I
consider myself so fortunate to actually be able to make a
living doing something I love in these crazy times. I am
also extremely grateful to the many libraries and patrons
who have supported my program this summer, from way down in
Waycross, GA, to way up in Crookston, MN, to way over in
                    Green River, WY. Thank you!

I've also been mentioning that all proceeds from CD sales go
directly to my gas tank, and people have been responding. CD
sales are way up compared to my last full summer on the road
in 2019, for which I say thank you all the more!

So where will I be the rest of the summer? Great question!

details on all my upcoming library shows here in CO, then in
NM, IA, and WI throughout July and August.

                    A big, big thank you to the libraries in Albuquerque, NM;
Farmington, NM; and Garfield County, CO. They not only have
all invited me back for repeat performances, but they all
also hired me to do virtual programs for their libraries
during the pandemic. I am grateful to every library that
hires me, but especially to those who helped support me when
I couldn't work anywhere else. Thank you!
